Any advice provided during this loan application can only be as good as the information received from you. We ask that all information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge to enable appropriate advice to be given.

PROCESS:

At Loansmart Ltd, we follow the internationally recognised six-step process for providing professional financial advice, this allows us to fully understand your requirements and work towards an outcome suitable to achieve your needs.

PRIVACY ACT 2020:

It is understood that any information gathered for this loan application is personal and I undertake to keep this information confidential and secure.

The Privacy Act 2020 gives you the right to request access to and correction of your personal information. Information provided by you and or any authorised agent will be used by me and any Loansmart employee for the purpose of providing advice to you and may also be used by any:

  • product or service provider when implementing any of my/our recommendations or variations thereof;
  • applicable regulators including the FMA;
  • compliance advisers, assessors or by any claims investigators who may need access to such information; and
  • other professionals such as solicitors, accountants etc. when such services are required to complement this advice and as requested by you.

SCOPE OF SERVICE

NATURE OF ENGAGEMENT: what you can expect from me

I will be trying to arrange the best loan available for your current financial position and achieve your specific needs.
As part of this service we will collect financial & personal information from you which will be assessed by us and our lending partners.

Once we have secured an approval, we will then discuss various options such as loan amount, loan term, conditions etc. and any additional products to enable you to reach an informed decision.

If you choose to proceed, I will provide you with confirmed approval details and assist you to complete the remaining steps to have the loan advanced.

NOTES ON SCOPE/LIMITATIONS:

I am only able to provide advice on Personal Lending & Credit related Insurance.

REMUNERATION: How do I get paid?

As a result of the scope of service outlined above, my remuneration will be received as follows:

I receive a commission on each loan I arrange. This varies based on the loan amount,
the Finance Company, and any additional products taken.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

If there are any conflicts of interest, then the Loansmart Ltd Conflicts of Interest policy will be followed. The details will be recorded, and the appropriate process will be followed and communicated.
